Application and admission procedure

This call is offering 20 places for studying the Bsc. in Chemistry taught in English at URV and 10 places for studying the Bsc. in Chemistry taught in Catalan/Spanish. If you want to apply for it, the process has the following steps:

1. Application (opened during all year)

Fill the application document choosing Chemistry (English) if you want to apply for studying the Bsc. in Chemistry taught in English or Chemistry if you want to apply for studying the Bsc. in Chemistry taught in Catalan/Spanish. 2. Letter of acceptance of the University conditioned to the official recognition of your Baccalaureate diploma (high school) or equivalent. The University will send you this letter in a few days after receiving your application correctly filled.

3. Obtaining official recognition of the equivalence of your Baccalaureate or high school studies (opened during all year). In order to enrol at a Catalan university, applicants must first obtain official recognition of their high school studies. This recognition must be requested to the Catalan Government following the steps described in the web. 4. Enrolment

If you have been accepted for studying at URV, you need to start to prepare the visa, book your accommodation in Tarragona, buy your flight and pay your tuition fee upon arrival. For this process, we strongly recommend you to purchase the Enrolment and welcome package (see tuition fees).

TUITION FEES

   Language requirements

   Accreditation of level B2 of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages in the language required for the course. Applicants who have taken the Baccalaureate studies in the language required for the course applied for will be exempt from submitting this accreditation.

   How to accreditate the level B2?

English: official Cambridge certificates (FCE or higher), with results of 6.0 at IELTS or 100 at TOEFL (iBT), will be accepted, among others. Optionally, the results of internationally recognised evaluation tests for access to higher education (SAT, ACT or similar).
